The Great Escape - I guess I was lucky enough to have this movie shown in my local park in an one-time open air cinema, because honestly, I don’t know when I would get another chance to watch almost three hours of pure awesomeness on a big screen. It was 100% exciting and engaging, from the beginning to the end, as witnessed by my numerous neighbors, who were all yelling and cheering ‘COME ON! ONE MORE, COME ON!’ when the tunnel scene was on and various ‘ooooh’ ‘aaah’ ‘eee’ sounds during the motorcycle stunt. The thrill, the tension and the intelligent humor are what made this movie iconic, and I’m glad I got to experience it in its full glory. Oh, and…
